Self-Inspection
"Self-Inspection" is a surreal, introspective take on self-consciousness, self-awareness, and the human condition. Imagine each piece like the strange, warping images that run through your mind in your sleep, the deepest parts of your psyche and how you react to them. I am not trying to argue that any of these deep-psyche-parts are good or bad, simply "there". We are often exploding at the seams with a need to be understood, all our thoughts and opinions pushing forward, sometimes against our own wishes. We over share, we overembellish, we become too honest or dishonest all in an attempt to be understood, but your mind and my mind are all amalgamations of everything we have ever seen, done, and been.
So enjoy the gallery and ponder the question with me, "What does it mean to be Me?
