Welcome to Alpine Valley, this is one of our two housing villages, and it’s here that we’ll be seeing one of our two dining halls, The Roaring Fork.
Students living on campus get an unlimited meal plan as part of their room and board, so you can get as much food as you want all day every day! The meal plan is applicable at either of the two dining halls, so students can eat at whichever one they want. A variety of meal plans are also available for a commuter to purchase.
Both of the dining halls serve buffet style, so you can go through and pick out the food that you want from a variety of different food genres. Plus, food is served continuously throughout the day. UCCS owns the dining halls, so there’s no outside company running the dining halls. This means that UCCS can serve higher quality food made with more local ingredients, and the chefs are also very considerate and accommodating to a wide variety of dietary needs.
