CREATE - Cultivating Resilience & Empowering Adaptation Through Expression JOIN US FOR A FREE MIXED MEDIA CLASS FOR FACULTY & STAFF CARDS OF CALM: CREATING A MINDFUL DECKCards of Calm: Creating a Mindful Deck is a unique, hands-on art class where creativity meets mindfulness. Using a variety of media, including watercolor, ink, stamping, pastels, colored pencils, and collage, you will design and craft your own personalized deck of cards. Each card will feature both beautiful artwork and inspiring mindfulness sayings, helping you express your creativity while fostering inner calm and reflection. You’ll learn mixed media techniques, explore intuitive design, and discover how to use art as a mindful practice. By the end, you will leave with a complete set of hand-crafted cards and a deeper connection to your creative and mindful self. UCCSlead Game Changer is a half-day transformational leadership experience open to all UCCS-affiliated undergraduate and graduate students no matter their discipline or classification.
