- Oct 31 – Dec 4Club Q Memorial Art Project - Artist Call Out!The Kraemer Family Library and the MOSAIC and LGBTQ+ Resource Center would like to invite all artists to submit an art proposal for a sibling exhibit in one of our two area. Artists will submit a proposal for the Club Q Memorial Art project. The proposal will go through a committee review and if chosen, the artists will receive $2,000 to complete the work and have their art entered into the Kraemer Family Library special collections. - Nov 305:30 PMUCCS Indoor Climbing Team - PracticeJoin the Indoor Climbing Team Discord here. Our first practice will double as an information session but you are welcome to come try out climbing with us at any practice. We are excited to bring back the indoor climbing team after a successful last season. While we do compete in the collegiate bracket for USA climbing, we also host a recreational team. We practice just 5 minutes down the road from UCCS at Springs Climbing Center (SCC). We also offer a discount on your membership to SCC to make climbing more affordable for college students, be sure to speak with the President (Tiana Schwarz; tschwarz@uccs.edu) to get your rates taken care of. You don't need to have been climbing 10 years to join this team, we encourage people of all backgrounds to come give climbing a try. You can join at any point in the season (September 2023 - April 2024), but there are requirements from USA Climbing to qualify for the competition team - if you are interested in this please mention this to the President at the time of sign up. Practices will begin September 5th of 2023, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30pm - 7:00 pm at Springs Climbing Center.
