Aubrey Graham, known by his stage name Drake, enrolled in classes at UCCS last Thursday, barely making it in time for the census date. The Canadian rapper was seen leaving Main Hall that afternoon.

Drake reportedly took interest in UCCS after reading an article about his career in The Scribe. “This is the only place I even get acknowledged anymore,” he was overheard telling a member of his crew.

Although Drake was surrounded by abundant security, witnesses report that students did not seem to pay much attention to the celebrity’s appearance on campus.

Senior Ran Domguy overheard another student say, “Isn’t that the dude that Kendrick Lamar cooked in that rap battle? What was his name again?”

According to Drake’s academic advisor, the rapper-turned-undergraduate will be majoring in biology on the pre-veterinary track. When asked why, Graham simply said, “For all the dogs.” Graham was denied admission to the early childhood leadership program for undisclosed reasons.

Drake’s advisor also encouraged him to pick up a music minor, given his background as a well-known musician. To this, Drake allegedly responded, “I don’t want to talk about music right now. It’s been a hard summer.”

By Friday, Drake approached Clubs and Organizations about starting a Drake Appreciation Club. He was flustered to find out he would need four members to start the club.

Although Drake’s club was not approved, Not Like Us Student Union — a club dedicated to the study of Kendrick Lamar’s career and music — will be having its first meeting Sep. 24 at the Gallogly Events Center, the only place large enough to fit all the recruits from the club fair.

Since Drake is a first-year international student, UCCS is requiring him to reside on campus. Graham was reportedly displeased at the idea of sharing a room with college boys. “I have a jet,” he told RHA. “I can literally sleep on Bridle Path and be here by 8 a.m. every day.”

RHA upheld its policy, housing Drake in a four-bedroom suite in Keystone. When Drake conceded, he said, “Whatever, man. Can I at least be on the same floor as some tings, though?”

According to Graham’s roommates, the former star is working on a new single entitled “2 a.m. on Clyde Way.” One roommate found lyrics to the song in a pink sparkly notebook with an Anita Max Wynn sticker on the cover.

At press time, Drake had begun the process of rushing, hoping to secure a bid from the Delta Omega Gamma fraternity. During talks with the brothers, he was asked what he knew about the mission of the fraternity. “I don’t know, but I do know I got that DOG in me,” he said.

Graham’s son, Adonis, is expected to be on the waitlist at the Family Development Center until 2032. Drake reportedly hopes to help the 6-year-old “My Man Freestyle” rapper advance his career in the meantime.
