entrance to the university center
Across the Upper Plaza is the University Center. It contains many of our student resources and spaces.

The second floor or Upper UC is home to Café 65, a food court style restaurant where students can grab a bite in between classes; Big Cat Coffee, on-campus coffee shop that serves local Colorado Springs fresh roasted coffee; and Berger Hall, a space used for events.

The first floor or Lower UC is home to our MOSAIC office, campus store, Student Life Lounge, Career Center, and Clyde’s Gastropub. MOSAIC is our multicultural office and LGBTQ+ resource center offering two reflection rooms where students can decompress from daily life. The campus store is the place to get UCCS branded merchandise to bring back home from your visit! Our Student Life Lounge is the “living room” on campus, where students can relax or meet with their club, where campus events are planned, and where you’ll find our student government office and Clyde’s cupboard, a non-need-based food pantry for students. The T. Rowe Price Career Center helps from major exploration to job search. Career coaches help students build resumes, write cover letters, and prepare for interviews. Also here is Clyde’s Closet, where students and alumni can get up to 7 pieces of gently used professional clothing for free each semester! Lastly, we have Clyde’s Gastropub, a sit-down restaurant.
