February is a month full of love, and with Valentine’s Day coming up, you may be looking for a sign. Whether you want guidance for how to spend your holiday or on how to impress a crush, a Valentine’s horoscope will help you create the ideal date or to see if romance is in your near future. 
 
Aries 
 
Aries thrive in their main-character energy. Venus, the planet of all things love, harmony and passion, will be stationed under this sign, providing plenty of opportunities for Aries romantics. Venus’s energy is giving Aries a gentle push to make a decision, as they are often indecisive. It’s a good time to move forward and start a new relationship.  
 
The best way to an Aries’ heart is through physical touch. They also love to be appreciated through tokens of love and gift-giving. Even if it’s something small, it’s the thought that counts. Though the Aries you are trying to impress may not have said much about Valentine’s Day, they look forward to it. 
 
Taurus 
 
Taurus is ruled by Venus, leading to a little extra luck during in February. Taurus can expect their love life to be impacted on the holiday with Virgo, the sign of love, in the headstrong, go-for-it spirit of Aries, and Uranus, a planet of change, in Taurus on the 14th. Don’t stand around anxiously but look forward to a positive outcome. 
 
Looking to awe a Taurus?  Start with something easy but thoughtful, like a box of chocolates, or go big and take them on a date to their favorite restaurant. Nothing says love to a Taurus like remembering their favorite things. 
 
Gemini 
 
For Geminis this year, the planet Jupiter is visiting the sign. Jupiter brings forth energy for expansion in mind and body. Valentine’s this year is a chance to focus on what you can do to better care for and love yourself. Gemini may be learning who they would consider a lover.  
 
With Jupiter’s energy impacting the sign, this is the year to go all out in an extravagant plan for your Gemini lover. Geminis are prone to second-guessing themselves, so make them feel loved with a lively date. Remember to bring their favorite gifts along, such as candy, jewelry or even a simple gift card that will remind the Gemini how much you appreciate them. 
 
Cancer 
 
Cancerians are full of passion and ready to care for those they love. Cancer’s ruling celestial element is the moon in the phase waning gibbous under the sign of love, Virgo. The full moon is over, and Mars is the sign of communication, so it’s now or never to say how you feel. With the subtle touch of Virgo’s passion, it can be a fulfilling Valentine’s for the Cancerians. 
 
Cancer considers Valentine’s with great importance. If you’re looking to be a Cancer’s Valentine, take the time to plan out the perfect date. Find or make a card that says the exact message of love you want to share, and make it known to the Cancerian how much effort you would put in for them. 
 
Leo 
 
Leos bring out the best in others, but this year is time for Leos to focus on bringing out the best in themselves. The Sun, which rules the sign of Leo, is in Aquarius, and it will be in a T-square form with the Moon in the love sign, Virgo. Uranus, in communication sign Taurus, will be creating tension. Though Leos may still experience a romance, it may not go the way they expect, so remember communication could be misunderstood.  
 
Because communications might go a bit astray for the Leos this time of year, show your appreciation toward them by taking the reins and planning an easy night with fun experiences. Go see a movie, get takeout or make them a meal at home. Remember to show your love by letting the Leos have a relaxing night with the one they love. 
 
Virgo 
 
As Virgo represents love and passion, Valentine’s may seem like a holiday that could have no faults for them. In Virgo, the moon is visiting in its waning gibbous phase, reminding all Virgos to focus on feelings rather than thoughts. Now is the time to say how you feel and accept the love that has been shared with you. With that in mind, Valentine’s could go either way for a Virgo, based on whether they accept who is willing to love them. 
 
For those with a Virgo in mind on this romantic holiday, it is time to spoil them. Start with a walk in a beautiful place like a park or a garden. Bring them their favorite flowers, and if you don’t know them, roses or violets never go wrong. Then, take them to a charming restaurant with a quiet atmosphere for a lovely memory that is not overstimulating. Let the Virgos sit back and relax with the love you offer. 
 
Libra 
 
Libras: your ruling planet, Venus, the planet of love, is in the sign of Aries. You might be thinking of jumping headfirst into a romantic relationship this Valentine’s. By Valentine’s Day, the energy around you will show you whether this relationship is the one for you. It may be time to self-focus. On Valentine’s, be spontaneous and see what can happen. 
 
Libras are hopeless romantics, so if you are romancing one, take the first step. Libras like to weigh the pros and cons, so show them all you can offer. Plan a classic date. Tell them nothing but what time you’ll pick them up. Knock on the door and take them to a nice Italian or sushi restaurant. Bring a gift for them to open after you eat. Libras will be starry-eyed and entranced by your almost cinematic approach. 
 
Scorpio 
 
Scorpios might be wearing rose-colored glasses, so take a moment to think if who you are entranced by is really the one for you. The hubbub of Valentine’s has drawn you to any possible connection there might be. If you secretly know your crush may not be a good match, spend Valentine’s with your friends and fall in love with the passion that good friendships bring into life instead of worrying about the outcome of a potential relationship. 
 
If you fancy a Scorpio, don’t let them down with a subpar Valentine’s. Do something more than just a card and chocolates. In the morning, tell them happy Valentine’s Day, and when they least expect it, surprise them at home with a well-thought-out date. Decorate the living room with pink and red balloons, streamers, flower petals and a beautiful, filling dinner. Let dinner be the time you talk about what’s on their mind and your ideas for future romance. 
 
Sagittarius 
 
Jupiter is the ruling planet for Sagittarius, and with its presence in Gemini, celestial energy can bring about good fortune and a sense of calm. Mercury, the planet ruling Gemini, can help Sagittarians say exactly how they feel. Use the time leading up to Valentine’s Day to understand the intentions of your Valentine, and don’t let doubt drag down the possibilities. Remember what you deserve in a relationship. Love is in your cards this year. 
 
Sagittarians know what they want when it comes to love. If you’re unsure of the best course for Valentine’s Day, ask the Sag in question. They probably already have a few expectations that you can play upon to outdo their imagination.  
 
Capricorn 
 
On the 14th, Capricorn’s ruling planet, Saturn, will be in Pisces. This might create some constraints when it comes to their idea of Valentine’s this year. The mix of Capricorn and Pisces energy will leave a Capricorn feeling a lack of potential for their next move. Take the day to find connections with family and friends. Restrengthen your love of self. 
 
Capricorns have a tender heart and deserve a thoughtful Valentine. Sure, they’d be happy with just flowers and a card, but take this one day out of the year to do something more. Do something fun like going bowling or seeing a live concert to keep the sparks alive. 
 
Aquarius 
 
Happy birthday to all the Aquarius babies out there! With your birthday so close to Valentine’s, the holiday might seem a little over-shadowing. Don’t forget you are an independent spirit, and so many go out of their way to show their love for you. On Valentine’s, the Sun and Pluto will be in Aquarius, and your ruling planet, Uranus, will be in Taurus. This brings a lot of change to your relationship, and perhaps it’s time to think about how you communicate with the ones you love. Since it’s time for change, the planets are empowering you to make the first move. 
 
Aquarius lovers are easy to please. They would be happy with a simple handmade card. What they want is something that shows you put in the effort to love them as they are. If you’re planning something, maybe this is the chance to visit the restaurant they’ve always wanted to try or experiment with this year’s new holiday candy renditions. Whatever it is, make sure you say how you feel to seal the deal. 
 
Pisces  
 
Mercury enters the sign of Pisces on the 14th, which is the perfect time to say how you feel and release emotions. Just make sure you don’t word vomit. With Saturn visiting Pisces, it is a reminder to stay practical. If you’re single this holiday, don’t spend it alone and feel bad about yourself. Use the time to plan your own date with your friends. 
 
To show a Pisces the way to your heart on Valentine’s, find things to surprise them all day. Show your appreciation with a note in the morning, an adventure like hiking or visiting a part of town at mid-day and end the day with an intimate dinner. This will be sure to blow Pisces’ expectations out of the water.
